Course description

The first 42.195km is the standard marathon course. After completing the marathon, runners continue on past the finish line and do a full lap of Manuka Oval. Runners exit the oval near the Fingleton Scoreboard, and run back out onto Manuka Circle, down Telopea Park West to the bike path at Bowen Park. They continue on this bike path along the south side of the lake foreshore, under both King's and Commonwealth Avenue bridges, turning just near the southern side of Commonwealth Avenue Bridge. Runners return via the same path, entering at the Fingleton Scoreboard where they exited prior, and to the finish line to complete a mighty 50km.
